Harsha is an Attorney at Law who joined e Uteem Chambers in November 2021. Before joining the Uteem Chambers, Harsha worked as Judicial Research Assistant in the Judiciary of Mauritius and assisted a Judge of the Supreme Court of Mauritius for two years. She conducted research in various legal areas and gained valuable litigation experience.
During her pupillage at The Sewraj Solicitors, Harsha assisted several law practitioners in the drafting of written submissions and of pleadings before the Supreme Court in its original jurisdiction, the family division of the Supreme Court and the lower Courts of Mauritius.
She also completed an articleship with Me. H. Gunesh which enabled her to be well versed with Court procedures of all the Courts of Mauritius and drafting of judicial, extra judicial pleadings and legal opinions.
She has obtained her Bachelor of Laws with Honors (LLB) with an upper second class in July 2016 from the University of Mauritius.
She has attended the Law Practitioners Vocational Course at the University of Mauritius and passed the Law Practitioners Vocational Examinations (Attorney’s Stream) in February 2020. Harsha is regularly called upon to conduct legal research and draft judicial and extra-judicial pleadings.
